Not every piece needs to announce itself. Some objects work quietly — a twist of glass catching the last light of the day, a plate of orange and black commanding a wall, an amber snail on a windowsill that stops a visitor mid-sentence.
Every room has objects placed in it without real intention — inherited things, gifts, fill. An ELQAVA decorative piece is the opposite. It is chosen with the room in mind, for a specific effect, for what it will do to the light and the eye of anyone who enters.
The Ember Crest, at 63 cm across, is a wall piece that demands an empty wall and sufficient distance to be seen. Its orange and black tribal patterns in glass are not casual decoration. The Helix of Light, by contrast, is intimate — it sits on a table, holds a candle, and when that candle is lit, the twisted orange-and-green helix becomes something else entirely.
“Glass held against light is not the same object as glass on a shelf. The piece changes. That is the whole point.” — On decorative glass
With only six pieces in this category, the decorative collection is ELQAVA's most curated. Each was selected not just for craft quality but for a specific function within interior design. The Solar Harmony — a circular amber torus — is used by several collectors as a centrepiece object. The Strength in Flame glass snail, at 30 cm across, works on a dining table or a console.
The Crown Chalice occupies a different position: it is a vessel but also a sculpture — its transparent glass body topped with a sculptural golden flourish that makes it, depending on your room, either functional or entirely ornamental.
All pieces are strictly limited. The Ember Crest, specifically, is a last piece — when it sells, it will not return. Purchase decisions in this category warrant care. We recommend viewing each piece's dimensions alongside your intended placement before ordering.
